Thank you for your interest in volunteering at Grundy County Memorial Hospital

Volunteers are the heart and soul of Grundy County Memorial Hospital.  Our volunteers are the first faces visitors see when they walk through the front door; their smiles welcome everyone who enters.  Volunteers also assist GCMH Associates with projects and assist Long Term Care with activities.  We are blessed with a devoted and caring group of volunteers who give their time to assist the patients and associates at the hospital.

Volunteers currently staff the welcome desk at the main south entrance of GCMH and help with other jobs and activities they have interest in and as they are available.  Many additional volunteer opportunities are available with Long Term Care during their activities.  The hospital also has a beautiful Healing Garden that will be in need of tender loving care this spring from a dedicated set of volunteers.

With the addition of the new building, GCMH will soon have need for volunteers to staff another welcome desk in the new west entrance.  As the hospital continues to grow and expand, volunteer services will do the same.  We welcome your ideas and the giving of your time.

There is no such thing as having enough volunteers; we welcome you to join our wonderful group of volunteers.  Whether you have two days a week to give of your time or just one day a month, we would love for you to join us.

Please contact Erin if you are interested in joining our volunteers, there are many opportunities available at GCMH and we can't wait to get you started!
